Canto offers individual, customized online coaching with its founders, tailored to each singer’s artistic and professional needs.
Sessions focus on repertoire development, role study, style, and musical and dramatic interpretation, with careful attention to each singer’s current goals.
Coaching is fully personalized and may include prepared repertoire or new roles, depending on the singer’s level and objectives. Practice and accompaniment tracks can be provided when needed.
Online coaching allows singers to work with Canto from anywhere in the world, offering flexibility while maintaining the depth and quality of in-person work. It is also particularly effective for camera-based preparation, making it ideal for audition video recordings, competitions, and digital submissions.
Rates:
• $65 per hour
• $180 for a package of 3 coaching sessions

Since the pandemic, Canto has offered FREE monthly online masterclasses, connecting singers from around the world in front of a live audience.
These sessions provide a unique opportunity to work on an aria with Canto faculty, receive detailed artistic feedback, and refine performance skills — all from wherever you are.
Our 2026 Masterclass Cycle centers on the theme:
“Building a Character Through an Aria”
Each session will explore how dramatic intention, text, musical structure, and vocal color come together to create a fully realized character within a single aria.
